Dad and Easton with "SkyHawk"

Luckiest kid in the world.

Columbia River-crossing from Oregon to Washington.

Enjoying the view.

So awesome!
Not every kid can say that they got to go flying for their 7th birthday, but Easton is a special kid, so he got a special day!  Happy 7th Birthday to our sweet and smart boy, Easton!  (They even flew over our house at the same time that I was leaving with the other 3 kiddos to go to Safeway.....not as much fun as flying!)

Garden update

Our garden used to look like this, but look at it now!  I can't wait to harvest our broccoli, green onions, carrots, sweet onions, and sugar snap peas.  Plus, our watermelon seeds just sprouted!  In the next few weeks we'll also be planting basil, peppers, and tomatoes, and maybe a zucchini plant or two.  I need more garden space!!  p.s.  Anyone need any onions this year?....we've got plenty to spare.

30!

I got to spend my birthday with my mom and my two sisters at BYU Women's Conference.  It was so much fun!!!  We even met our old neighbors/friends down there too.  We shopped, laughed, ate good food, and just had an awesome time.  I'll definitely have to do it again!  I even had a candy poster waiting for me on my dorm room door.  It felt like I was a freshman in college all over again.  It was a great way for me to start out my next decade.

2 months later

 Our new striped office!

Broccoli, green onions, sweet onions, and carrots.

Sugar Snap Peas (and future home of my pepper starters and tomato plants).

Over President's Day weekend, I had posted on our office, our garden, and Miss Ginny.  I just wanted to show the progress that some of these things/people have made.  It is so fun to see them all grow/change.  Ginny's walking has greatly improved and she prefers to get up and walk about 3/4 of the time.  By this time next month, she won't even remember how it was to crawl!  She is getting so big.  (sniff, sniff, tear).
