Happy Post-Halloween

This year's Halloween felt like a sprint all day. I took my kids plus one extra to Trick-or-Treating on Main Street (never again!...or at least go earlier next year).
The kids thought it was fun, and I'm surprised I didn't lose anyone.

Ginny was just happy to be along for the ride,

and Max was happy to just sit in the stroller and eat his loot half way through.
One hour of standing in long lines to get about 15 peices of candy was not my idea of a good time, but the kiddos were more than thrilled with what they got.

Later that evening we went around our neighborhood. Max and Luke were already tired and wanted to go back home after visiting the 10 houses in our little subdivision. My friend and I took Easton and her son to one more subdivision though, and their bags got heavy enough that we (the moms) had to carry them back home. What kind of dessert can I make with all this candy to get rid of it faster?

Oh man, I'm just exhausted reading your post! We skipped out on our neighborhood, and boy I'm glad, cuz it turns out that only every fifth house gives candy, so it would have been waaay to much walking. We went instead to my parent's neighborhood, where we went out for 45 minutes, to 20 houses all right by each other, and their buckets were full. It was perfect. I think I'm just gonna go there every year. :)

If you find a dessert let me know, because I am looking for one too! I am sick at how much they brought home.

Thanks for your comment about Yakima. Right now it is a definite possibility, so I would love to talk to you about it and get your opinion. I have heard some not so great things about it, but Brian is thinking we could live in another town and he could commute into Yakima- Selah is what he was thinking. Anyway, would you mind calling me? 801-310-3222 Just whenever you can. :)
Thanks Lindsey!

Ah, my three super heros, and the princesses Ginny. Those boys are sure getting big. It won't be long before they have to give me a ride on a motorcycle.
