Thoughts from yesterday!

1. So sad that Wacko Jacko is gone! Without knowing him we would have never had the moonwalk, that crazy Superbowl fiasco (Janet would be nothing without Michael), names like Blanket and Jermajesty, choreography for all of my high school dance team routines, and the dance that everyone knows best: the moves from Thriller. Thanks for 5 decades of music, dance, and out-of-this-world-bizarreness.

2. Glad that Scott is done with work now and can help me prepare for the move. Easton asked him yesterday, his first day off, "Daddy, are you going to stay with my all day today?" Scott and I looked at eachother and thought: yes, today, and all of the following days to come with no job. Easton is very excited about this, but I'm sure it will start to wear on Scott and I.

3. So happy that dumb Jonathan on SYTYCD finally got kicked off. He is horrible! How did he ever make top 20!! Next week, bye-bye Vitolio!! :)

4. You know the part in Harry Potter 7, when they are in the vault and everything they touch is cursed to multiply? Thats how I feel with my packing! After I pack anything, the stuff in my house seems to multiply and I feel like I'll never be done packing. For each box I pack, I find a thousand things more to pack! Its never-ending.

5. Saw the 5-day forecast for the Seattle area, but all I had to look at was through Monday, and after that, who cares! So long dreary, cloudy, 70 degree weather. Bring on the 80-90s and the sunburn! I am looking forward to living with air-conditioning in my home again!

Packed Apartment and Baby Talk

Lindsey has been working hard to get our apartment packed and ready for the move. She basically has the whole place ready to go. We'll leave Monday the 29th, drop our stuff in Kennewick, and then head to Utah on the 30th. Also included in this post is video of Max talking at us. He was jabberin' away until we turned the camera on, but we still got some good "goos" out of him. He's quite the chunk for being just over 11 weeks old.

We love Elmo and Aunt Allie!

Our boys looked so cute in these matching shirts from thier beloved Aunt Allie that I just had to take some pictures. Allie is the best sister, aunt, and friend that anyone could have. She also works at Nordstrom and so we also love her discounts and her many gifts of clothing for our children. Love ya Allie!!

The Move!

So we are moving...where to, you ask? Well, everywhere! Scott's internship has come to an end, and the job hunt is still on, so we're putting our stuff in storage and vacationing to various family members houses until a new job has come along. As soon as my parents have settled back in the Tri-Cities, WA then we will stay put there semi-permanently. We have started to prepare the boys and this is how my conversation with Easton went:

Me: Easton, we're going to be moving soon.

Easton: What?

Me: We're going to stay with Grandma and Grandpa until Daddy gets a new job.

Easton: Can I come with you?

Me: Of course you can come!

Easton: But I'm a big boy now, can I go get a job?

Me: No, honey, just Daddy needs to have a job.

Easton: But I'm 4 now and I want to get a job like Daddy!

Isn't he just darling. All day long he tells me he is 4 now and is a big boy as an excuse to be able to do something that I tell him he can't. He wants to be just like daddy, its so cute! We'll keep everyone posted with our travels.

2 Months Old!

Max is getting so big! We estimate him weighing over 13 lbs. and is around 23 inches long. (I don't have the exact measurements because he doesn't go to the doctor until next week). He still isn't doing much besides smiling, eating, sleeping, and crying. He does have good head control, though. He is trying to make a few sounds, but we haven't gotten much more than oohs and ohs, but every once in a while he'll give us a cute ah-goo. When he is pitifully sad or getting a little fussy, then he'll meow like a cat instead of crying, and we just melt. He finally started pooping again too. Like any of you want to know, but between weeks 4-8, he only wanted to go once every 10 days, and thats because Mom finally helped it along with some vigorous wiping during a diaper change. We love him so much, and even more so that he is sleeping between 6-8 hours at a time in the night.

Happy 4th Birthday, Easton!!

Easton turned 4 today. We actually celebrated his birthday over Memorial Day weekend while Scott's parents were here. He got his first bike, a tee ball set, and lots of puzzles, clothes and books. At 4 years old Easton weighs about 32 lbs and is 38 and a half inches tall, which makes him the same weight as his younger brother, Luke, and only about an inch taller. He is quite the smartypants though. He can read and knows his numbers. He loves primary and giving talks, and he says great prayers. In his 4 years he has also become a very well traveled little boy. He was born in Provo, UT. He's lived in West Virginia and Washington State. He's vacationed to Disney World and Disneyland, Washington DC, Chicago, Las Vegas, and of course Seattle. He is such a little boy and loves wrestling with his brother, running around outside, playing with trucks, cars and trains, and making animal noises.
